Quick and informative for preventative health. Dr Duncan and Dr Blakely gave very detailed reports from my whole body scan. I will heed the advise given. Thanks some much. Great experience talking to Dr Duncan. Overall 5 star top to bottom. I encourage everyone to get a scan(s).

I felt that it would be beneficial to learn how I became a patient of Via Scan.I have a close friend that is a tennis pro at a tennis center in Midland, Texas. A few years ago, he called me with some personal news about his health. He said he had just had a complete physical, stress test, EKG, bloodwork, etc. Passed with flying colors. A few months later, a friend of his, after much resistance, took him to get a body scan. His argument, of course, was that he had had a complete physical and passed everything. He finally went, his tests came back, unbelievably, all four arteries were 98% blocked. He was immediately operated on for a quadruple bypass. I could not believe his results after having the complete physical.On my next visit to my family doctor, I told him the story of my friend. My doctor immediately responded, “Eighty percent of heart attacks have no symptoms.”. My doctor had recently visited Via Scan and had the full body scan. My doctor is in his 30’s, but he mentioned that his father had a heart attack when he was in his 40’s. Preventative maintenance was his answer. My doctor recommended that I call Via Scan and make an appointment. He was very complimentary of Dr. Duncan and his personal concern for his patients.Having learned that aneurysms and heart attacks are hereditary, I quickly made an appointment. My mother passed away due to an aneurysm. The staff was terrific and Dr. Duncan was kind, interested and most informative. Got a clean bill of health, which was very comforting.Next, I flew my brother in from Virginia to get his scan. His scan showed a 4.5cm aneurysm. Dr. Duncan advised him that at that time, the aneurysm size was not bad, however, he should have it checked each year. What is troubling about this finding, my brother has been operated on and hospitalized several times in the last few years.I became very interested in heart attacks and who has died, or almost died, without any symptoms. Age, nor physical condition are not always a good sign. For instance, I read a newspaper article about a 27-year-old girl in California that ran marathons regularly. Her mother gave her a gift certificate to go and have a scan. She resisted because of her not having any symptoms and running marathons constantly. However, to please her mom, she went several months later. Three arteries 97% clogged and the fourth was 93%. Needless to say, it saved her life.Now, the sad part. Wanting to make sure that the people I loved or care about, I have tried unsuccessfully to get them to go to Via Scan, all expenses paid.Last year I tried to get one of my brother- in- laws to make the trip from North Carolina. He had just had a complete physical, stress test, EKG, etc. He said he was good. At the same time, I tried to get his sister, my sister- in- law, to come and get the scan. Again, it was a no, she felt fine.Three months ago, my brother-in-law turned a bright yellow. He went in for tests, liver problems. While he was being diagnosed, they found he had stage 2 cancer in his pancreas. Had he gone to Via Scan, it would have been caught earlier. Thank God, he will be ok with treatments.The sister-in-law wasn’t so lucky. Two months ago, she was at work and went outside to take a smoke break. She had a massive heart attack. No symptoms.Two years ago, I offered several employees to go and get the scan. One did, one didn’t. We buried the nicest, sweetest guy you’ve ever met. On January 27, he complained to his wife that his chest hurt and he had a pain down his left arm. She drove him to the hospital, but he passed away on the way there.You will never meet a more caring, interested person in your wellbeing, than Dr. John Duncan. Was it not for Via Scan, and Dr. Duncan, my one artery would be completely clogged. Through his recommendations of vitamins and exercise, we are aware of the situation.I will end with the old cliché; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.Larry Whitten

The staff kept us informed via timely emails including the forms to complete prior to arriving for our appointment. We felt very welcome when we arrived and throughout our time there. The Doctor was a delight to work with and provided a full explanation of our body scan.

a very great experience!!! Dr. John Duncan and his staff is amazing. makes the whole procedure comforting. and when it come to the results, Dr. Duncan will deliver the news as plain as possible. He cares that you understand your results. very informative.I would advice anyone to get a scan. recommend at the age if 40. it preventative measures that hopes to detect issues early enough to plan a recourse of recovery.

I am so happy that I found ViaScan. The staff is professional and friendly but Dr. Duncan is amazing. He explained every detail in layman terms so I left with assurance and confidence. That isn't all though. Dr. Duncan was able to reach my doctor's office and let them know I had an issue that needed attention ASAP. They needed a CD of my images so Dr. Duncan drove the CD to that medical center and placed it in the hands of the appropriate health care provider. If this isn't going above and beyond, I don't know what is. I recommend Dr. Duncan and ViaScan to everyone. Now I am able to get on top of my health issues before it's too late. Thank you, Dr. Duncan and ViaScan.

Staff was very professional and explained every scan that they would be doing. The scan and the time I had to wait to see Dr Duncan was not long at all. Dr Duncan explained all the scans to where I would understand everything and he gave very helpful tips for the future. I would advise everyone to come here.

VIaScan is definitely a must do for your health. The scan is a breeze, the results are a relief and and eye opener at the same time.The staff are wonderful, courteous and caring. When the Doctor went over my scan results, he took his time to go over and explained every detail. What needs to be addressed and how to handle things, for me it was some life style changes.I highly recomend this for everyone, young adults to the elderly.Thank you again to the Doctor and staff of Viascan

Revised...after waiting two full weeks for a disc with scan results to be sent, I called them only to learn theathe scans areoare sitting in outgoingtoutgoing mail but 'No one had found time to take to post office. Did we want to pickup?'. No, I don't. Not exactly convenient to come from Bedford and pickup was never mentioned. Hope they mail it soon. Original review: Fast andeand check in and scan. Strict compliance with COVID 19 restrictions. Dr review after scan very complete. Worth the money.

The process was very fast. From check-in, to completion, it only took 45 minutes. The scan only took 10 minutes. A lot of information was obtained from the scan, prior to receiving the radiology report. The radiology report, itself, was very detailed, and gave lifesaving information. It was worth the money spent.

We have been going to ViaScan for several years and the health information they provide is so critical. Dr. Duncan and the staff are so nice, professional and dedicated to patient health. The procedure does not take long and he discusses the results shortly after the procedure. I HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of their services and finding out the information necessary to maintain a healthy life. The information you receive is worth it! I had my second full body scan at ViaScan in Las Colinas. The procedure is easy, the staff is friendly and efficient. Seeing Dr. Duncan immediately after your scan for preliminary results gives you great peace of mind while awaiting the full radiology review. Learning the importance of your calcium score is pivotal in maintaining or changing your lifestyle. Everyone should be scanned as part of their personal healthcare.

Very professional staff. We were in and out quickly. Upon completion of the scan, we were able to speak with a staff member who was very thorough in the review of the scans. He offered great advice and explained the procedures for getting the final results. Would definately recommend!

The procedure was pretty quick and simple. The staff were friendly and professional. The doctor explained the results of the scan and gave some tips on what can be done to improve any health anomalies found. he was very nice and kinda funny.. ViaScan is a great place to get a scan. I wasn’t in the waiting 10 minutes before they called me back. The scan was super fast. The results were explained to me right after the scan. Very nice staff and really quick. I would definitely recommend this imaging place.

I was somewhat suspect both before and after making my appointment -- my fears were totally unfounded. Both my wife and I had the test run this morning -- we both came away impressed and pleased. The staff was very professional, the tech running the machine was amazingly considerate and proficient, finally seeing Dr. Duncan and getting the results was a great experience. Dr. Duncan seemed to really care -- he was able to explain everything so that we could understand and make the suggested lifestyle changes.We heard at least two personal testimonials in the waiting room from folks that had friends whose lives were save and one individual who personally was told he was at risk for a heart attack, his cardiologist told him he was fine, a week later he had a heart attack.Definitely recommend.
