ViaScan Mobile is returning to Austin after last year’s inaugural success sponsored by the Austin Firefighters Association.
Last year, ViaScan Mobile scanned active & retired Austin First Responders, discovering important early cancer, heart plaques, aneurysms & other important health issues among first-responders who had no idea, but who are now living healthy, normal lives.
ViaScan Mobile will return to the Austin Firefighters Association located at 7537 Cameron Road, Austin, TX, on June 1, 2026, for heart & body scans!
This year, ViaScan Mobile is getting the word out to also include all first responder departments surrounding Austin! General information, scheduling calendar to reserve a spot & a televisit appointment to review scan results are all provided at the ViaScan Mobile.

Only at ViaScan do you receive total prevention package of a heart & body scan for early identification of both heart plaques and cancers of lungs, liver, spleen, pancreas, gall bladder, kidneys, bladder, testicles, prostate (males), uterus/ovaries (female). ViaScan also detects aneurysm of most blood vessels in the chest/abdomen/pelvis as well as lymphoma’s, kidney stones, gall stones and hernias. The comprehensive heart & body scan is only the beginning; first-responders will have personal consultation to review heart body scan images & have report sent via email to personal email address & to healthcare providers so designated. ViaScan heart reports outline potential effective lifestyle & medical management treatments likely to control & stabilize heart plaques necessary for heart attack prevention control. ViaScan radiology reports provides detailed feedback regarding the health of all chest/abdomen/pelvic organs. All scans are confidential unless a healthcare provider is identified & requested by a first-responders to have ViaScan reports forwarded.

Step 2: You will schedule 2 appointments; one appointment for heart & body scan and one separate appointment at least two days later for tele visit to review images and reports. First select date/time you are interested in obtaining heart & body scan; you will receive a link for pre-register documents to complete. Very Important: you MUST complete pre-register documents prior to heart & body scan visit!!!
After your ViaScan heart & body scan, a written ViaScan report will be sent via personal email you provided on registration document. The ViaScan reports you receive via email will have a link for you to schedule your ViaScan tele visit to review your images and reports. Tele visits will be scheduled between 8A – 4P Friday or Saturday
Step 3: Select time of interest for scheduling your heart & body scan exam
Step 4: If the desired time slot is available for given date, you will be taken to screen to provide pre-scan personal information for your heart & body scan. After all information requested has been entered, click “done.” After successfully selecting a date/time to schedule your heart & body scan, you will receive via email a link to complete pre-scan forms to necessary BEFORE your heart & body scan appointment. Step 5: ViaScan Mobile heart & body scans will be performed at Austin Fire Fighters Association, located at 7537 Cameron Road, Austin Tx 78752,
DAY of ViaScan Appointment
Step 6: arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled heart & body scan time; please abstain from all food and beverage, at least 5 hrs prior to appointment – water is ok.
Step 7: wear any comfortable clothing commensurate with Texas summer heat. Your heart and body scan should only take 15–20 minutes. Your credit card will be processed at the time of your scan.

Step 8: Schedule your tele visit to review images and reports with John Duncan, Ph.D. on same calendar you scheduled your heart & body scan. Heart & body scans are blocked from 8A to 4P Monday through Friday of each week. The link you will receive to schedule your tele visit will be provided with the ViaScan reports emailed to your email address. All tele visits will be scheduled Friday or Saturday from 8A-4P
