The wait for Fort Worth & nearby cities is over!!
Experience the most advanced heart & body scan to prevent heart attacks and early cancer detection is over!!!
Welcome to ViaScan Mobile Fort Worth. ViaScan just celebrated 24th birthday & is pleased to have prevented heart attacks & early cancer detection of firefighters statewide since 2001!
John Duncan, Ph.D. CEO of ViaScan, first began developing prevention programs for firefighters in 1980; transitioning to heart & body scans in 2001. ViaScan has largest firefighter specific heart & body imaging database in Texas and most likely largest in the U.S. ViaScan serves over 47 Fire Departments statewide!
ViaScan focus from the beginning was to move away from the wait for a heart attack and treat the survivors to prevent heart attacks BEFORE they ever occur!! Similarly, ViaScan has been at the forefront of early cancer detection; having discovered early lung, pancreatic, kidney, and other cancers at early stage 1 that ViaScan is happy to report having long list of survivors.
The youngest individual discovered to have pancreatic cancer was a 28-year-old man from North Texas; he has successfully been treated and has been cancer free for over 10 years. Next youngest was a 31-year-old North Texan ViaScan discovered early stage 1 kidney cancer; after successful surgery this firefighter is still active duty 8 years later & cancer free! ViaScan is proud to serve texans who were discovered to have lung, pancreatic, kidney, and lymphoma cancers. Every single life matter!!
ViaScan heart scan is able to see heart plaque as tiny as 0.7 mm – years or decades before this tiny plaque would grow into a life-threatening heart attack plaque due to shear neglect – not knowing/not treating a preventable heart issue. ViaScan identifies individual who have the smallest heart plaques giving individuals an opportunity to treat early to make necessary course corrections to maintain great health rather than trying to regain once lost! No other non-invasive heart tests: such as stress tests, MRI, or cholesterol tests can see heart plaques, much less treat & monitor once identified.
Only at ViaScan do you receive total prevention package of a heart & body scan for early identification of both heart plaques and cancers of lungs, liver, spleen, pancreas, gall bladder, kidneys, bladder, testicles, prostate (males), uterus/ovaries (female). ViaScan also detects aneurysm of most blood vessels in the chest/abdomen/pelvis as well as lymphoma’s, kidney stones, gall stones and hernias. The comprehensive heart & body scan is only the beginning; firefighters will have personal consultation to review heart body scan images & have report sent via email to personal email address & to healthcare providers so designated. ViaScan heart reports outline potential effective lifestyle & medical management treatments likely to control & stabilize heart plaques necessary for heart attack prevention control. ViaScan radiology reports provides detailed feedback regarding the health of all chest/abdomen/pelvic organs. All scans are confidential unless a healthcare provider is identified & requested by a firefighter to have ViaScan reports forwarded.
Two ways to pay:
1) Cost for Heart & Body ViaScan = $495 dollars
2) Texas HB 1290 law mandates $200 dollar reimbursement for heart scan among individuals who meet following criteria: male (>45 years; females>55 years) and have one of following conditions – history (treated or not) of high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, or tobacco use.
More awesome news – ViaScan was able to successfully assist in historic passage of HB 1290 mandating $200 dollar reimbursement of heart scan by all insurance companies doing business in State of Texas. Texas is only State in the U.S. with preventive power mandating coverage of the #1 most common health issue of community – heart disease!
To meet qualifications for the $200 dollar heart scan reimbursement; firefighters must meet the following criteria; age (male>45; female>55) AND have one of the following: history or treatment of high cholesterol, high blood pressure, tobacco use, diabetes. If you meet the age and risk factor criteria; you qualify for $200 dollar reimbursement from your insurance company. ViaScan will provide necessary superbill designating appropriate insurance code for you to file for reimbursement directly from your insurance company. For individuals who meet both age & risk factor criteria; ultimately the cost of your heart & body ViaScan is reduced to amazing cost of only $295 dollars – all in, nowhere but at ViaScan!!!
